Dr. Dino Garbaccio: inventor of the "bicortical system" researcher and international lecturer.
Since 1965 engaged in the field of the Oral Implantology. In 1970 he perfected a screw that has the charateristics of constant cortical support to the opposite one, and with this support gives the possibility of being immediately loaded. This is the only one that is really self-tapping (in fact it does not need tapping for to be inserted).

The oldest historical exhibit. Three endosseous implants made by Mayas in Central America, were carved out of sea shell.
This exhibit is in the Peabody Museum, Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts).
